English Woodlands is a private company that dates back to 1919.

The company began as The English Forestry Association with offices and a nursery near Reading, Berks. At that time it was a forestry management company with a forest nursery. Since then the company grew in size to become a leader in forestry management and landscape contracting. In 1992 the company's Burrow Nursery became a separate independent company operating as English Woodlands Burrow Nursery.

The nursery now has clients throughout the UK and supplies not only forest trees but also specimen trees, shrubs and conifers and a wide range of specialist tree planting accessories for professional landscapers.

Our client list includes many local authorities, landscape contractors, architects, farmers, estates, developers, golf clubs, schools and colleges, private individuals and garden designers.
